CompanyStarting over 30 years ago as a car porter at his family-owned automobile dealership, Chris Weber has advanced through many facets of both the retail and consultative environments of the Automobile Industry. While attending Northern Illinois University, where he graduated with Major in Business and Marketing, Chris became a sales representative for his family owned dealership. About this experience, he believed this is when truly became educated about the sales end of the dealership. “There needs to be an effective process in place from the moment your customers first enter the dealership, to the time that they leave with their new vehicle to be successful. After spending some time as a Finance and Insurance manager, Chris was recruited by Pat Ryan and Associates where he received the chance to assist and develop Finance and Insurance Departments throughout the United States. Later he joined Western Diversified Services / Protective to focus on providing his consultant experience to several large dealerships and dealer groups in Chicagoland. After many successful years focusing on driving up his dealership clients bottom lines, Chris came to the realization that it wasn’t really his company he was working for, but it was his customers that were giving him his marching orders. He also discovered “not all dealerships are created equally” and each have their own unique needs, and the one-size-fits-all mentality that he previously was trained could no longer work in today’s industry.
The Automobile Industry was beginning to evolve, from the products that became available to market in the finance department, to the different tools that were being introduced to make their presentation more “customer-focused”. Auto Dealerships wanted to partner with someone that was going to better meet their needs quickly, by maximizing their bottom-line while doing so with 100% compliance and customer satisfaction. In 2004, Chris Weber founded Diversified Management Group, Inc.(DMG), and this was their mission.
